The mission of the Harambee Community Development Corporation, a 501(c) (3) charitable organization, is to positively impact Atlanta and the surrounding community by empowering its residents economically, socially, and holistically. We further endeavor to engage in activities designed to stabilize and promote community-wide interest and concern for the problems that plague the residents of Metropolitan Atlanta in the areas of mental health, education, commercial sexual exploitation, driver safety, hunger and homelessness.

Registration

TO REGISTER FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE, COMPLETE THIS ON-LINE FORM. 

Reason For Community Service:
Complete the on-line registration form.

On the Day of service submit the liability form before beginning.

A staff member or adult over 21 yrs. of age will monitor your community service, sign your log; and once all service is completed & Your donation is received, we will send a Formal Letter of Completion To You & One Additional Party (School or University, Lawyer, Probation Officer, Judge, etc.) the  donation is requested for this administrative service.  

ADOPT-A-ROAD LOCATIONS & DATES​

We are excited to partner with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful's Adopt-a-Road Initiative to provide community service hours in the state of Georgia. Below are the monthly dates and locations of our Adopt-A-Road initiatives. 

 

Peachtree Corners, Crooked Creek Rd.  (Between Holcomb Bridge Road & Spalding Drive)

Group Cleanup - EVERY FIRST SATURDAY 10A-5P Daily Clean-Up Times Also Available

Stone Mountain, GA, East & West Park Place Blvd.  (Beginning @ Rockbridge Road and ending at Highway 78). ​

Group Cleanup - EVERY SECOND SATURDAY 10A-5P - Daily Clean-Up Times Also Available

Tucker, GA, Lilburn Stone Mountain Road (Beginning at Old Tucker Rd. and ending at Rockbridge Rd.)

Group Cleanup - EVERY SECOND SATURDAY 10A-5P - Daily Clean-Up Times Also Available

Lilburn, GA, Rockbridge Rd. (Beginning @ East Park Place Blvd. and ending at Lilburn Stone Mountain Road)

Bring Water in a Reusable Container; 
Closed Toed Shoes [No Sandals];

Jones Bridge Park Camp Out | September 13 – 14

Come out for a cultural celebration with crafts, games, music, performances, and refreshments!

Join us for a family campout with dinner, a nature hike, s’mores, and breakfast treats!

 

Harvest Fest | September 21
